The Bachelor Canada; The Sister; and new scripts!

Want to hear something ironic? It’s valentines day right? Well, I got an email today to work on the new show, “The Bachelor Canada”. The timing couldn’t be more perfect, with everyone celebrating love today. All jokes aside, I’m really excited to work for the show. It’s on a volunteer basis, which means no money, but for me, that’s more than okay. It’s experience. Not to mention, the feeling of being on a team is something that I can’t quite explain, and that I never quite appreciated until my time on Canada’s Got Talent. It’s going to be an awesome experience and an overall fun time, I just know it.

Rosanna, who is working hard on the score for “The Sister”, has been sending me updates about the score. She is very excited to show me, and I have no doubt in my mind that it’s going to blow me away and really bring home the emotions of the film. Rosanna has put her heart into this project, and I cannot wait to see what she has created.

Yesterday, I finished a 1st draft for a script I’ve been working on, currently titled “Invisible Ink”. It’s a story about a man, Tyler, who is mistaken for a criminal, and gets the chase-down of his life. Very brief description, but that’s all I want to say about it right now. I’m also working on another script, that I’m hoping to finish this month. It’s a very heavy one, with the story focusing around cancer. I got the idea based on a personal fear I have. The films that I write come from either a personal experience, something that makes me mad, a personal fear, etc. It’s always personal. This one, is based on a fear I have of one day having to leave my sister behind. I know, “another sister film?”, but it’s not like that. This one is very different, and I actually got teared up just writing down a brief storyline. I hope that means that I’m headed in the right direction with it. Anyways, I’ll keep you all updated with the progress of these films.

To all the readers of this blog, thanks for reading, and have yourself an amazing Valentines Day. Go spend time with the people you love, hell, if they don’t know you love them, go tell them. Just spend the day with the ones that matter. Have a good day!
